The Community Catholic Youth Ministry (CCYM) is a multi-parish youth group for middle and high school students. Our main parishes are Sacred Heart, St. Catherine’s, and St. Ignatius Hilltop, but youth from any church, or no church, are always welcome! We strive to offer a variety of opportunities for our students to grow in faith and in community, such as Youth Nights, bonfires, retreats, movie nights, bowling, Bible studies, outdoor excursions, service projects, and more.

To receive announcements and updates from the youth ministry, register and ask to be added to our email list.

You can also follow us on Instagram and Facebook @ccymcharlescounty, or scroll down to see our calendar.

Looking for volunteers!
The youth ministry is always looking for adults dedicated to helping our students grow in faith and in community. Without our adult volunteers, youth ministry could not exist, much less thrive.

In particular, we are currently looking for volunteers to be present at our youth activities and events, and volunteers to help feed our teens are our various events. See our links below or contact the youth minister if you are interested.

All adult volunteers who interact with our teens must be in compliance with Archdiocese of Washington Safe Environment Policies. For more information, contact the youth minister or click here.

Where do we meet?
Since we are a multi-parish group, CCYM normally meets in one of these locations: 1) The Sacred Heart Friendship Room, which is the hall beneath the church. It can be found by entering the doors at the back of the church, or by entering through the front of the church and going down the stairs on either side of the vestibule. 2) The St. Catherine's Hall & Field located at 7636 Port Tobacco Rd. 3) The IHM House, which is located at 106 Port Tobacco Rd. The House is a three-story building to the immediate left of Archbishop Neale School. It used to house the sisters who taught at the school but now hosts youth and young adult activities.
