Community Catholic Youth Ministry
CCYM is a multi-parish youth group for the middle and high school students of Sacred Heart, St. Catherine’s, and St. Ignatius Hilltop. We strive to offer a variety of opportunities for our students to grow in faith and in community, such as Youth Nights, bonfires, retreats, movie nights, bowling, Bible studies, outdoor excursions, service projects, and more.
To receive announcements and updates from the youth ministry, you can: text the letters “ccym” to 84576 to join our Flocknote texting list, follow us on Instagram and Facebook @ccymcharlescounty, or scroll down to see our calendar. To register your student for the 2020-2021 school year, click the registration button. |

Lent Apologetics Series
Middle and high school students are invited to participate in a weekly study series during the season of Lent, starting Feb. 22nd. Participants will watch the video content for Why Believe (Volume 1) from formed.org and discuss Monday evenings at 6pm. See our Google calendar for all the meeting dates and which chapters will be discussed each week. If your student is interested, please fill out the information below. |
Where do we meet?
Since we are a multi-parish group, CCYM normally meets in one of these locations: 1) The Sacred Heart Friendship Room, which is the hall beneath the church. It can be found by entering the doors at the back of the church, or by entering through the front of the church and going down the stairs on either side of the vestibule. 2) The St. Catherine's Hall & Field located at 7636 Port Tobacco Rd. 3) The CCYM House, which is located at 106 Port Tobacco Rd. The CCYM House is a three-story building to the immediate left of Archbishop Neale School. It used to house the sisters who taught at the school but now hosts our students on the first floor. |
